Give In-Kind Support
If you are excited to support the GLI program but don't have the financial resources to make a contribution, there are many other ways of helping GLI!
Catering Sponsorship:
Provide catering for one of our many workshops, networking sessions, or meetings. Simply check out our calendar and get in touch with Project Assistant Julia Onnie-Hay to get details on how many participants are expected at the event and what kind of catering is needed. All businesses who provide full catering support or partial discount on catering gets advertising on our website, inclusion in our "GLI Catering Favorites" list, and materials distributed to our growing network.
Meeting Space:
Host one of our events at your venue. Check out the 2009 calendar (coming soon) to see which workshop dates we need Sarasota or Manatee County locations for. GLI can provide our non-profit tax-exempt form and liability insurance by fax or e-mail to potential donors of meeting space. Just get in touch with Project Assistant Julia Onnie-Hay to offer space to GLI.
Intern with GLI!
We are seeking a college or mature high school student to work with us for 5-20 hours/week. Examples of projects that the Intern will be involved with include: research, event support, assisting with the annual report, and recruitment support. Please contact Project Assistant Julia Onnie-Hay to submit your resume and cover letter. Great opportunity for a student-activist seeking experience working with a non-profit organization!
